For many years the people of Kazakstan have been bombarded by the false promises of materialism, and today we are facing a serious spiritual crisis. Ninety percent of the population have been deprived of any moral guidance, and now face a devastating spiritual emptiness. Trying to find a source for this vacuum, people blame the government, or the president. Little attention is paid to the true enemy, the sin that rules our world today-sin that is based on our disobedience toward God, and our active rebellion against His Will.

Using radio, television, print media and the Internet, Kazakstan Lutheran Hour Ministry (KLHM) strives to share with the people of Kazakstan some gifts from God that can fill their spiritual emptiness:

  • the way to salvation,
  • peace in their hearts and in their families,
  • love and respect for one another,
  • kindness and mercy for those who need help.
These gifts are shared as we proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout Kazakstan - "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him." (John 3:16-17)
